day 31

Our mexican marigold bushes are getting so big! The flowers are so cheery for Winter, and they smell so good too!

day 30

Yet another gazania shot. ;) These are just looking so good in January!

day 29

This is the beautiful baptismal gown that Mom and Grandma had stored away many years ago. Lillian will be gorgeous in this family heirloom!

day 28

January has seen me eating a lot of lemons and apples. Josh thought of the great combination! We only had three apples from our tree this year, but the lemons keep on coming! (We're now buying the apples from the store.)

day 27

I love this shot of our gazanias that Josh got. Gorgeous!

day 26

Now that we know we're having a girl, I've been having fun hitting up ebay and finding all these great strawberry themed dressed and clothes! I'd seen those when I'd be "window shopping" online while we were trying to get pregnant and loved them. Now stores aren't selling them, but people on ebay are...and still brand new!

day 25

I was having more fun with texture overlays with this pic. The birds have once again strewn sunflower seeds in our yard. Thanks birdies, for letting us enjoy these beautiful flowers!

day 24

Josh was hard at work for four days painting the nursery! We absolutely love how it turned out. Great job, sweetie!

day 23

We have a lot of hibiscus plants throughout our yard. This one is so beautifully colored. My other favorite, the orange one, isn't in bloom right now.

day 22

Our hummingbirds go crazy for this salvia!

day 21

My handsome honey out in the yard with me and Shadow. Love him so much!

day 20

The Pioneer Woman was doing a flower photo contest. This photo of our black eyed susans is one of the ones I submitted. None of ours were chosen this time though!

day 19

Shadow loves her fleece bed! She's been keeping us company in our bedroom when I have to be laying down in bed feeling sick from nausea. She'll be either on her fleece in the sun or on our bed with us!

day 18

Our pale purple lantana plants are so dreamy and ethereal looking.

day 17

Our old euryops bushes were always in bloom. They didn't survive our landscaping project of last year, so we bought these new ones. They didn't have blooms for MONTHS, but finally do again now!

day 16

Happy Birthday, Brendon boy!

day 15

I actually felt up to baking again. We had banana-chocolate-chip-peanut-butter bread!
